1 cup total - rice (raw rice:idli rice = 1:1)
1 cup total - all dhaals together (major part of it will be toor dhaal, little channa dhaal, little moong dhaal, little urad dhaal)
- Soak all of the above together for 3hrs and grind coarsely along with 5 red chillies, jeera and salt.
- Top it with fine chopped onions, cilantro, curry leaves, grated ginger.- Make dosas from the above batter, little thick. Cook both sides well.
- Serve hot with Kurma or red chutney.
Alternatively instead of full rice, I substitute sometimes with wheat rava or brown rice.
