Diwali

Since few of my friends were asking for diwali snack/sweet recipes,I am combining it into one post today. Feel free to check out the below recipes.The ones we make in US, turns less oily, not sure if it is because of the rice flour we get here.

Other items that can be made....urad vada, paniyaram, jamoons.Easiest is to buy from store :-) What I do...just enjoy watching TV that day and do my usual chores :-)

Kambu Kuzhi Paniyaram (Bhajri or bajra!)

Got this from a tamil magazine. Healthy! But was very bland even with so much toppings, so you may want to increase the rice proportion and serve with really spicy side dish. My podi went well with it :-) Millet Paniyaram
